Did Trump and Stephen Miller Plan the LA Riots?

 In June 2025, Los Angeles experienced a series of protests, with some questioning whether Donald Trump and his friend Stephen Miller planned the chaos to crack down on immigrant communities. The protests began with ICE raids, with Stephen Miller helping plan the raids to "send a message." The protests were initially peaceful, but escalated when federal troops used tear gas, rubber bullets, and flash-bangs on crowds. While some stuff was burned, the violence didn't really explode until after law enforcement arrived. Trump flirted with the idea of martial law, using words like "insurrection," "anarchists," and "enemy within" and hinting at using the Insurrection Act. While legal experts pointed out that this wasn't a justified use of the Act, Trump seemed to want to look tough and act like a wartime president. The verdict is that there's no rock-solid proof that Trump and Miller planned the LA riots, but there's evidence that they sparked the fire with aggressive ICE raids and then poured gasoline on it by sending in troops and playing the strongman card.
