Trump's Supporters

 Ever since Trump returned to office in January 2025, his supporters have been involved in increasingly shady—and sometimes outright violent—behavior. They’ve rioted, distributed militarized gear, embraced extremist leaders, and launched legal and political attacks that line up with Trump’s policies. One of his first moves was pardoning around 1,500 people involved in the January 6th attack, including Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and others with serious criminal records. That sent a clear message: Trump has their backs. Now, many in his base are openly pushing for authoritarian crackdowns on protesters and government officials. It’s not just political passion anymore—it’s turning into a direct threat to democracy, where intimidation is normalized, extremist figures are celebrated, and basic civil liberties are increasingly at risk.


Online, things have been wild. Some Trump fans started doxxing grand jurors, threatening judges, and even tried to get police to raid their houses with fake emergency calls (that’s called swatting). It’s all part of this online culture of attacking anyone who’s seen as “anti-Trump.”


And guess what? Some of those extremist leaders who got pardoned—like Stewart Rhodes and Enrique Tarrio—are back out in public, showing up at events like nothing ever happened. It’s like they’re being treated as heroes instead of guys who helped incite a violent insurrection.


Then there's the whole military thing. When protests popped up in cities like L.A. over Trump’s immigration crackdowns, he sent in troops—and his supporters loved it. They saw it as a power move, even though a lot of others saw it as way too extreme.


All in all, Trump’s base hasn’t just been excited—some of them have been straight-up dangerous, pushing stuff that’s more about revenge and control than democracy.
